UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs Rodriguez

MMA Fighting
UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs Rodriguez was going so well... until it wasn't. A flukey Main Event ending took what was a 9/10 card down to a 7 but overall was a very entertaining slate of fights. Below are some highlights from the fights this weekend:
Rodriguez technically defeated Ortega by TKO in round 1...Just as the fight was heating up Ortega took Rodriguez to the ground and went to pull his arm out to posture up but popped out his shoulder instead and went down in a heap of pain ending the fight.
Shane Burgos defeated Charles Jourdain just like I said he would in our lock of the week. In reality Jourdain was so close to finishing Burgos in the third and I thought Burgos was going to lose the decision - but he didn't and that's all that matters in gambling.
King of Prussia prospect Bill Algeo defeated Herbert Burns by TKO in round 2
And last but certainly not least, Schnell submitted Sumadaerji in round 2 (making our lock of the week officially successful) in what is sure to be comeback fight of the year, and also round of the year. It was one of the most insane rounds of fighting I've ever seen. You have to see round 2 for yourself. I will admit though, this is not for those who claim UFC is too brutal for them, there was a point where I was yelling at the TV for the ref to stop the fight or corner to throw the towel in, but what do I know Schnell came back and somehow won after being out on his feet maybe 8 times.
Also, bonus boxing coverage - Instagram star boxer Ryan Garcia remained undefeated with an 8th round KO over Javier Fortuna

Parlay (+167): Shane Burgos (-165) WITH Schnell vs Sumudaerji under 2.5 rounds (-150) CASHED
We're back baby. A solid +167 cash, and it was fun and stressful as hell which is why we bet. As I said in the recap... when the Burgos fight went to the score cards I thought for sure we had lost it but we got a lucky roll there. Then with the Schnell fight he was KO'd on his feet like 8 times and the ref refused to jump in and stop the fight to hit our under 2.5 so I thought we were screwed before finally, Schnell arose from the grave and cashed our parlay with a round 2 sub.

Have I mentioned that you guys need to watch round 2 of that Schnell vs Sumudaerji fight?
