Weekend Fights Preview

UFC 277: Pena vs Nunes 2

We have a PPV weekend this Saturday that is flying under the radar, I guess for good reason. Really not all that much to get excited about on this card even though it features two title fights. It's one of those worth the watch, not worth the $75 cards.

Here are some things to look out for on Saturday night:

• Amanda Nunes looks avenge her first loss since 2014 and get her belt back against Julianna Pena who shocked the world back in December.

• Moreno vs France is also a title fight and a rematch between two top level Flyweights. This should be a good one.

• Derrick "Black Beast" Lewis comes in as an underdog against Sergei Pavlovich. Two KO artists going at it.

Another plus money parlay for the boys. Every single one of those picks feels like a trap, I won't lie to you.

Some stats behind the reasoning for these picks:

• Lewis is the all time UFC KO leader

• Pavlovich hasn't left the 1st round in his last 5 fights.

• Mayes isn't exactly great, but he is 2-2 in the UFC an his opponent is making his UFC debut and his last opponent looks like they just grabbed him off the streets

• Nunes is just so much more talented than Pena, look for her to conserve her energy better in this rematch
